OFFICE OF MEDICAID MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES 2004 INCOME AND RESOURCE LEVELS

Pursuant to GIS 03 MA/026, effective January 1, 2004, Medicaid eligibility must be determined using the following updated figures:

Resource level for one person $ 3,950

Resource level for two persons $ 5,700

Monthly income level for one person $ 659

Monthly income level for two persons $ 950

Minimum Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance $ 2,319

Minimum Community Spouse Resource Allowance $74,820

Maximum Community Spouse Resource Allowance $92,760
